Are you ready to escape the rules and to try something different? Here we are introducing the non-standard shaped CD's and DVD's. M-Design is the only company in Bulgaria which has the equipment for shaping discs.

Technologicaly every single custom shape is possible. The shape must be balanced and at least three points of its outer edge must touch either the outer 120 mm diameter rim of the players tray where standard size discs fit or the inner rim where 80 mm diameter mini discs fit. 

The capacity depends on the point which is closest to the center. Data zone is only where the circular tracks uninterrupted are.

A shaped CD/ DVD ist produced from a normal CD-ROM or DVD-ROM (120 mm - replication) cut to the desired shape.

The shapes we recommend are:

-   mini CD or DVD ( diameter - 80 mm)

-   oval CD or DVD ( a mini CD or DVD cut  

    horisontaly;

    dimensions: diameter 80 mm; high - 61-67 mm)

-    cut oval to quadrat CD or DVD - depending on the

     capacity needed

-    triangle CD or DVD

-    pentagon,  hexagon or octagon CD or DVD

-    free shaped CD or DVD

If you ask for CD's or DVD's in the form of credit cards they should be duplicated on CD-R's. This exeption is enforced by the need to be used discs with a thin-edge on the botom side. There is no production of CD-ROM's and DVD-ROM's with the thin-edge in Bulgaria.  

However, there is one more chance to have a rectangle CD/ DVD shape which fits into Ø 120 mm. Its dimentions could be 105õ62 mm or 102x65 mm, a little bit bigger than the standard business card.

Minimum quantity - 500 pcs.  

Of cource for the traditionalists we can stay by the standard round discs and pack them in the appropriate package.
