A workshop “Marketing strategies for documentaries with cultural-historical purposes” took place on Juli, 6th in SPA hotel Aquatonik as a part of the cultural days of Velingrad. Local hotel managers and municipality’s administration joined to the activity. The event was leaded by Maria Karagyozova - director of FilmFest “On the East Coast of Europe”, Assoz. Prof. Lina Anastasova - expert in marketing and management in tourism at BFU and Alexander Panayotov, M.S.E. - manager of M-DESIGN Ltd. The main topic was the positive experience in producing and distributing of presentative documentaries, as well as how to make more popular the region and the services offered in Velingrad - the SPA-capital of Bulgaria.
It was the second workshop on this topic. The first one took place in Veliko Tarnovo as a part in the discussion programm of the FilmFest “On the East Coast of Europe” during the 7nd international exhibition “Cultural Tourism” /14-17 April 2010/
